Component Engineering (BOM Optimization)

TeligentEMS has dedicated Component Engineers that can use a variety of tools to provide suggested crosses for parts listed in the customer’s Bill of Material (BOM) and Approved Manufacturer List (AML) as well as end of life alternative components. These tools include the internal database of parts (more than 57,000 approved alternate parts), IC Masters, and search engines on the web. By providing additional sources (with the approval of the customer), TeligentEMS can assist in reducing costs and optimizing lead times and availability.

Component Programming for devices can be accommodated with a variety of techniques including JTAG methods, ICT, and external programming devices. Processes are provided to ensure the integrity of the program and TeligentEMS can accommodate changes to programs either for work-in-process (WIP) or finished goods.
